There are all kinds of different options out there, and you need to make sure that the one you are growing is going to do ok in the area you are located in. The important thing to remember with any cactus plant is that they need to be grown in an arid climate or area. If you are growing it in your home, you need to know when to water it and leave it alone. All of this is crucial and will make a huge difference if it lives.
