Deuterocohnia is a genus of mat forming succulents from Argentina and Bolivia. The genus is named after the German botanist and bacteriologist Ferdinand Julius Cohn. Deuterocohnia comes from the Greek for "second Cohnia", since there was already a genus Cohnia.
