Dyckia is a genus of the botanical family Bromeliaceae, subfamily Pitcairnioideae. The genus is named after the Prussian botanist, botanical artist and horticulturist The Prince and Earl of Salm Reifferscheid-Dyck. Most species are native to Brazil, but a few originate from other South American countries such as Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia.
